On
the left are two portraits of flautist Andrew Anson, part
of a series taken for a concert programme. The lower one was
taken in a light-hearted vain, whereas the top one is more
typical of one that would normally be used.
The two photos on the right were taken in a studio - experimenting
with some more extreme lighting effects to see how dramatic
the results would be. Above is a very strong rim lighting,
and below a very direct light straight into the subject's
face.
